This term the Year 3 and 4 Inquiry is on the Rocky Shore. Our big idea is that "We have the power to protect and preserve our local environment- the Rocky Shore".
As part of our 'Immersion' stage we had some hands on experience.
A couple of weeks ago Years 3 and 4 went on a trip out to Island Bay to the Marine Education Centre.
We had a fantastic time and learned so much about the Rocky Shore and the creatures that live there. We even got to hold many of the creatures.
(You may have noticed Miss Donnelly wasn't too keen on that!)
